Graham founded GDC Partnership in 1976 and has continued to be responsible for the management and direction of the company ever since.

He has a wide range of experience with all types of structures and building materials for projects throughout the UK, Middle East and Africa.

In his position of managing director Graham has an in depth appreciation of the client’s need for value for money and working to a programme and has the skills necessary to ensure their implementation.

After gaining his degree in Mathematics and Business Management at the University of Manchester in 2001, Peter soon joined GDC in the role of finance director.

He is responsible for all financial aspects of the business and in addition to this is responsible for pricing and programming of projects together with contractual negotiations, PI insurance and quality assurance.

Peter is also head of the administration department.

David has over 30 years experience in the design of all types of structures, ranging from small sensitive refurbishments to large new build projects. David takes a proactive approach within the design team to ensure the structural design is efficient and economic whilst meeting the needs and aspirations of the client, architect and other team members. He is responsible for the management and design of projects from conceptual design through to completion.

Over the last few years David has developed a strong knowledge of Business Information Modelling systems (BIM) ensuring GDC are always providing a service in keeping with the latest technological advances.

Mike has over 40 years of design experience, working closely with both client and contractors on various design and construct projects to enable the works to be completed both on time and within budget.

Over the last 15 years he has worked and lived in various countries whilst working on major cement projects, both in the design office and based on site.

In the last few years, based back in the UK, he has been involved in the design of various residential and commercial buildings ranging from multi-storey office blocks to residential new builds and extensions as well as the design of marine projects.

Peter has nearly 40 years experience in the civil and structural engineering field including design as well as the setting up, administration and operation of GDC’s 2D draughting and 3D modelling facilities. He has detailed knowledge of operating BIM systems.

Peter has responsibility for the programming and quality of drawing production within the office and is currently responsible for the management of projects from inception through to completion.

He also has extensive experience in educational, commercial, residential and industrial projects, site surveys, roads and drainage.

John has over 40 years experience in the field of civil and structural engineering in the UK, Europe and the Middle East. Projects include educational, commercial, residential, industrial, petro-chemical and water management. He has worked in the Middle East and Gibraltar for a number of years.

John was also a member of the committee for both BS8666:2005 and Standard Method of Detailing Structural Concrete 2006.

He is also responsible for the IT systems within the office and for office drawing production.

Will joined GDC Partnership in July 2016 in the role of graduate structural engineer having recently completed his Masters at the University of Surrey. Since joining the company Will has become a valuable member of the design team, gaining experience on a variety of projects across the residential, commercial and educational sectors.

Laurie has over 30 years experience in the industry and has been working for GDC for almost twenty of those years, having worked on numerous prestigious projects. At present he has responsibility for the managing of projects from the early stages through to completion, having been recognised with awards in doing so.

He is proficient in all standard methods of drafting and has detailed knowledge of BIM systems and is conversant with Autocad 2D/3D software as well as having extensive experience using Revit 3D modelling software.

Andrew has almost 30 years experience in the industry and first joined GDC in 1996. After a brief spell away he re-joined the company in the 2015.

Andrew is proficient in all standard methods of drafting, having worked for some renowned structural consultancies. He has detailed knowledge of BIM systems and is conversant with Autocad 2D/3D software as well as having extensive experience using Revit 3D modelling software.

Natalie has been involved with GDC since she first joined the company in 2004.

In addition to her role as company secretary Natalie also plays a significant role in both the administration and document control departments of the company.

Wen has over 20 years experience and has gained significant experience working for a number of top consultancies both in the UK and Singapore. He has built a strong portfolio working on numerous large scale high rise mixed use developments, initially working as part of the team and over time this has grown to having led and managed the structural team for the technical design stages.

Wen is comfortable and experienced in working with other members of the design team to ensure the structural design is efficient and economic whilst meeting the needs and aspirations of the client, architect and other team members.
