This project consisted of the structural design of a new block of nine apartments together with the associated drainage and external works package. The design was a traditional construction with the ground floor being beam and block with the upper floors being precast planks and load bearing masonry. The ground conditions meant that the foundations were a mixture of reinforced pads and ground beams with the remainder being mass concrete.
